Mew x Swablu Amigurumi Pattern

Materials:

* 8ply yarn: blue or pink

* fairyfloss yarn: white

* felt: blue or pink (same shade as yarn)

* 2x 10mm safety

* 3.5mm crochet hook

* polyester stuffing

* scissors, yarn needle

Abbreviations:

* mc - magic circle

* sc - single crochet

* inc - increase

* dec - decrease

* dfc - double foundation chain

* TR - turn piece around

* sk - skip

* FO, LT - finish off, leave tail for sewing

Pattern

HEAD - in blue/pink

R1: mc 6

R2: inc around (12)

R3: (1sc, inc) around (18)

R4: (2sc, inc) around (24)

R5-10: sc around (24) --- insert safety eyes between R9-10

R11: (2sc, dec) around (18)

R12: (1sc, dec) around (12)

R13: (1sc, dec) around (8)

...

BODY - continuing on from HEAD

R14: (this row only: on outer loops) sc around (8)

R15: (1sc, inc) around (12)

R16: sc around (12)

R17: (2sc, inc) around (16)

R18-19: sc around (16)

R20: (2sc, dec) around (12)

R13: dec around (6)

...

TAIL - continuing on from HEAD

R14: 9dfc, FO.

** if you are just making Mew, do not FO after the 9dfc instead, ch1, TR, (sc, 2hdc, sc, slst) all into the last dfc -- this forms the little bulb at the end of her tail~

TAIL FLUFF - in white fairyfloss yarn

mc 6, sew to end of tail.

EARS x2 - in blue/pink

R1: mc 6

R2: (2sc, inc) around (8)

R3: (3sc, inc) around (10), FO, LT.

ARMS x2 + LEGS x2 - in blue/pink

R1: mc 6

R2-5: sc around (6), FO, LT

** for arms, stuff then sew to body.

** for legs, flatten then sew to body.

NECK/CHEST FLUFF - in white fairyfloss yarn

R1: 13dfc, TR

R2: sk1, 12sc, FO, LT

Assembly:

1. Sew ears to either side of head

2. Sew arms to body

3. Sew legs to body

4. Sew neck fluff to body

5. Sew tail fluff to tail

6. Cut 2x thin strips from blue/pink felt, glue between the eyes.
