Metagross Amigurumi Pattern

Another Pokemon Go: Community Day Pokemon!

Materials:

* 3.5mm crochet hook

* 2x 10mm safety eyes

* 8ply yarn - blue (normal) or white (shiny)

* Felt - blue, light blue, yellow (shiny)

Abbreviations:

mc - magic circle

sc - single crochet

inc - increase

dec - invisible decrease

ch - chain

sk - skip

slst - slip stitch

TR - turn around

FO, LT - finish off, leave tail for sewing

Amigurumi Pattern:

[Body] - in blue (normal) or white (shiny)

r1: mc 6

r2: inc around (12)

r3: [1sc, inc] around (18)

r4: [2sc, inc] around (24)

r5: [3sc, inc] around (30)

r6-10: sc around (30) ---- insert safety eyes between r9-10, 6 stitches apart

r11: [3sc, dec] around (24)

r12: [2sc, dec] around (18)

r13: [1sc, dec] around (12) --- stuff firmly

r14: dec around (6), FO, LT.

[Legs x4] - in blue (normal) or white (shiny)

r1: mc 6

r2: inc around (12)

r3-4: sc around (12)

r5: [4sc, dec] around (10)

r6: sc around (10)

r7: [3sc, dec] around (8)

r8: sc around (8)

r9: 2sc, dec, 1sc, ch3, TR

sk1, 2sc, slst, FO, LT. -- stuff firmly

Assembly:

1. Glue or sew a felt strip across the lower half of his body

(blue for normal, white for shiny)

2. Sew or Glue a large cross between his eyes, covering the strip you attached earlier (template below - light blue for normal, yellow for shiny)

3. Sew the opening at the top of the legs closed (as shown on the left), and sew legs to body at r5 level

4. Sew or glue 3 little triangles/claws to each leg (template below - light blue for normal, yellow for shiny)
