Alolan Vulpix Amigurumi Pattern :3

Hiya! It's been a long time since I lasted posted on the blog, for that I am sorry. I hope you've all been well ~

As requested by many of my Instagram followers and Etsy customers, I am publishing my chibi Alolan Vulpix pattern... I hope you guys enjoy this!

Please note: this pattern uses a different stitch in some parts - the "popcorn stitch", you can find tutorials on youtube, if this is a new stitch for you :)

Materials:

* 3.5mm crochet hook

* 2x 10mm safety eyes

* 8ply yarn: white, light blue (no rmal), purple (shiny)

* white fluffy fairyfloss yarn (for tail, head fluff)

* felt: blue (normal), purple (shiny), white

* polyester stuffing. scissors, sewing needle

Abbreviations:

mc - magic circle

sc - single crochet

inc - increase

dec - invisible decrease

tc - turning chain

sk - skip

OH - outer hoops only

FO, LT - finish off, leave tail for sewing

Pattern:

[Head] - in white

r1: mc 6

r2: inc around (12)

r3: [1sc, inc] around (18)

r4: [2sc, inc] around (24)

r5-10: sc around (24) --- insert safety eyes between r9-10, leaving 6 stitches between

r11: [2sc, dec] around (18)

r12: [1sc, dec] around (12)

r13: [1sc, dec] around (8) -- stuff firmly

[Body... continued from Head]

r14: (OH only) sc (8)

r15: [1sc, inc] around (12)

r16: sc around (12)

r17: [2sc, inc] around (16)

r18-19: sc around (16)

r20: [2sc, dec] around (12) -- stuff firmly

r21: dec around (6). FO

[Ears] x2 - in white

r1: mc6

r2: 2sc, inc (8)

r3: 3sc, inc (10)

r4: 4sc, inc (12)

r5: 5sc, inc (14), FO, LT

[Head fluff] - in white fluffy yarn

r1: ch3, tc2

r2: popcorn stitch 3, FO, LT.

[Front paws] - starting with light blue

r1: mc6

r2-3: sc (6)

(change to white yarn)

r4-5: sc (6), FO, LT

[Hind paws] - in light blue

r1: mc7

r2-3: sc (7), FO, LT.

[Tail] - starting with while fluffy yarn

r1: ch6, tc2

r2: popcorn stitch 6

(change to light blue yarn)

r3: 5sc, tc1

r4: 5sc,

r5: sk1, 4sc

r5: sk1, 3sc,

r6: sk1, 2sc, FO, LT

Assembly:

1. Sew ears to head

2. Sew head fluff to forehead, between the ears

3. Cut out 2x blue triangles from felt, 2x white mini hearts from felt; glue/sew to the inside of her ears. Then cut 1x mini blue triangle from felt, and glue nose between eyes.

4. Sew all 4 paws to body, remembering to stuff lightly

5. Sew tail to bottom of body
